Santa's Home Made Doggy Cookies!
Santa was busy making these tasty Christmas cookies for his furry friends!
Instead of giving store bought Pet treats as gifts; make these easy recipes. Your friends and their pet's will love them!! Best of all; NO PRESERVATIVES!!!
Peanut Butter and Molasses Cookies
½ cup Peanut Butter
¼ cup Molasses
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
2 cups of Whole Wheat Flour
1 egg white to brush on cookies to give a glazed look
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Line baking sheets with parchment paper
Mix all ingredients in a bowl
Knead into a ball and roll out on parchment paper
Cut with a dog shaped cookie cutter or choose a Christmas cookie cutter
Place cookies shapes on baking sheets, brush with egg white and bake for 10-15 minutes. Let cool. Keep refrigerated. Can also be frozen.
Cranberry, Cheddar Cheese and Chicken Cookies
Ingredients
½ cup chopped dried Cranberries
½ cup of shredded cooked chicken breast (I used the leftover roasted chicken breast we cooked the night before)
½ cup Cheddar Cheese
1 Egg
1 tablespoon of Molasses
1/2 cup of Whole Wheat Flour
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Line baking sheet with parchment paper
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl
Take half the dough and roll out onto parchment paper (you can cut into biscotti shape or use cookie cutter)
Place on cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Let cool. Keep Refrigerated. Can also be frozen.
